Canadians aren't known for glamour, but Monday at TIFF, they dazzled in dresses and sparkled on the red carpet at the sixth Birks Diamond Tribute to the Year’s Women in Film. Birks and Telefilm saluted six women: documentary director Nettie Wild; actors TantooCardinal and Pascale Bussières; screenwriter Susan Coyne; and emerging directors StellaMeghie and Jeanne Leblanc.
